Christmas Cards Galore

I love to make Christmas cards! This year I've assembled a group of 30 cards each one being different. All have the same general design but with different stamps and mixture of paper. These went together very quickly and were lots of fun.

Take time out of your busy schedule to join me for an afternoon of card making. November 8 from 11-4 you can make these cards, enjoy some great company, have an afternoon out and get lunch too! All card materials are precut to make assembly quick and easy for you!

Cards are $20 for 30 cards. If you want to make more than one set of 30 just let me know. If you want a printed greeting inside I am offering that as well. You let me know what you want and I'll have them all ready for when you get here! To cover printing costs it will be $3 per set of 30 for the greeting addition.

Card making Birthday Party

I'm doing a birthday party for 7-9 year olds and we're making 4 cards. The girls are super excited about stamping and can't wait to get creating. I am excited too!

Let me know if there is a special event you'd like me to plan for you. What about a mini scrapbook for a bride to be or a mother to be at a shower. All the attendees can be participants. How about a Christmas card workshop for all of your friends and family. The possibilities are really endless. You could even earn FREE stuff!

Fun Placements

Here are a couple of placemats I made for a friend. She just recently had a second baby and I wanted to do something unique. When I found these on Jeanette's website I thought it would be a perfect gift for the baby (obviously when he's older) and his big sister. They were fun and easy to make. It take one and a half 12x12 page protectors. The best part is that the individual 6x6 sections can be taken out and replaced with new ones for different holidays, seasons, events, etc.! As soon as I finished my son saw them and asked where his was...guess I better get working on that!

Here's a birthday card I made for my niece. It's another Wishes template...can you tell I love that book? I made the edge scalloped which is fast becoming one of my favorite new tricks to change things up a bit. The birthday cake is the August Stamp of the Month (SOM) and it's so fun! To get your copy email me to place an order or schedule a party.

August is going to be a great month of specials! For the first half of the month if you spend $100 you get the August SOM free PLUS a current hand picked level two paper pack FREE! They are also going to pay for the tax and shipping so it's an even better deal. From August 16th and into September you can purchase or earn for free a great new card kit that will make 16 cards! This special is in honor of National Stamping Month. I will post pictures of the card kit once I get to preview it. The kit is $39.95 or you can earn it for free by purchasing $60 in stamp sets. I have loved the past two years of card kits and can't wait to get this one! Last year they sold out in 3 weeks so don't delay ordering to ensure you can get yours.

3 Cards - 1 Pattern

Here are three cards with totally differnts looks and themes and each uses the same template. I used the Wishes How To book. It always amazes me how different things can look by changing the paper or turning the design 90 degrees.

20 Card Workshop

I am really loving the new WISHES how to book. There are card workshops where you can make 12, 16 or 20 cards complete with cutting diagrams! It's a fast and fun way to get several cards made quickly. For end of the year gifts for my son's teachers I made the 20 card workshop and split it in half (10 for each person). I put them in a decorated box with envelopes. They were very much appreciated. Here's the picture of them. I'm having a 16 card workshop at my house in July. If you're interested email for all the details! k.orear@sbcglobal.net

I'm almost done with the Back Country layouts but need to get the photos printed and mounted. Hopefully sometime soon!

In the mean time I made two graduation cards for some friends. Hard to believe but these are for a set of twins that I used to babysit for...talk about making you feel old!! I wanted to cards to be complimentary but not identical. I found two great cards in the new Wishes book. I love all the cards and have been playing with if a lot!

I'm Officially Blogging

Well I've finally figured out this blog thing! It's taken me a few weeks to get it the way I wanted but I've finally done! For me this is no small accomplishment. I am excited to have an outlet that I can easily share the papercrafting hobby I love so much. My plan is to post ideas, techniques, thoughts and some how to projects.

I'm currently working on putting together the Back Country Workshops on the Go. This paper is one of my favorite because I have lots and lots of great outdoor pictures to scrapbook. If you aren't familiar with Workshops on the Go let me quickly explain.

This is a great program that will help you get your scrapbooking moving in a direction. With a level 2 paper pack, My Stickease, a few embellishments and an instruction booklet you will complete 6 layouts with enough paper left over to at least 4-6 more layouts and some cards.

Each month I hold a workshop where you will put together these layouts. The workshop is $25 for the basic kit (this kit can be upgraded to include extra emblishments or coordinating stmap sets).

Just think 6 layouts complete each month for you to just add pictures to!! What a great way to get your scrapbooking moving. I'll post pictures of my completed layouts soon.
Check out my website for more artwork and inspiration!
