January Blog Hop is Here!

I'm so excited to be part of this great blog hop! This is a great way to see lots and lots of fantastic art using the new January Stamp of the Month! The hop is all Close To My Heart Consultants who are all so creative! If you have arrived here from Melissa Burch's blog you're on the right track!

I've made this note card box with about 110 stamped note cards inside. It's for a friend and fellow CTMH consultant whom I appreciate so much. I can't wait to see what she thinks of it!

Here is a cutting diagram for how to make the box. I've had many people asking me how to make it. I got the idea from a box I received from another consultant (JuliAnn Diesch, Thanks JuliAnn!) as a christmas swap gift. I altered it and added another box to make this one two sided to how notecards. I forgot to include in the instructions that the hatched areas are scrap.

Now hop on over to Michelle Bourlet's blog to continue the hop. To see a list of all the consultants click here. It's one big loop so just keep hopping to see all the great art.

  3. Wow Kim, I love this project! Did you come up with the note card holder or is it a drink holder from a resteraunt? If you came up with it or lifted, can you share where you found it? Love the paper, is that Key to my Heart or Caboodle?

  5. I came up with the project after seeing several different boxes. It is two boxes that are glued together with what would have been the lid. I will try and get a tutorial up in the next few days.

  8. 110 CARD HOLDER - was that a type-o??? WOW! If that is correct you just solved my craft fair problem! I was looking for something that can hold a lot of cards for display and it has a handle!! AWESOME!!!

  9. 110 note cards is not a type-o. I really did make 110 note cards (3.5x4) to go inside. You could adjust the size of the box to hold standard size cards if those would be better for your craft fair. Good luck!
